Logisim-evolution v5.0.0 is a free, open-source (GPL-3.0) digital logic circuit simulator for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The installers below include a bundled Java runtime, so you do not need to install Java separately.

Which installer do I need?
Almost everyone needs the x64 installer — it works on all standard Intel and AMD PCs and laptops. Choose the ARM64 installer only if your machine runs Windows on ARM (for example, a Surface Pro with a Snapdragon X chip).
Not sure? Open Settings → System → About and look at “System type”. If it says “x64-based processor”, download the x64 installer.
Windows SmartScreen warning
Because Logisim-evolution is a community open-source project without a paid code-signing certificate, Windows SmartScreen may show a blue warning saying it “protected your PC”. This is normal for unsigned installers. Click More info, then Run anyway to continue.
Silent install (for computer labs)
IT staff deploying to classroom PCs can install without any prompts:
Replace the file name with the ARM64 file name if you are deploying to ARM machines.
Saving your circuit files
Save your .circ circuit files in a normal folder such as Documents. Avoid saving directly inside C:\Program Files, where Windows may block writes without administrator rights.
